The full trailer is mainly composed of a carriage, an axle, a bogie and a traction device. The front axle, a bogie and a traction device are combined as a whole and can be steered in the direction of the tractor; In addition, the traction device can move up and down, which is why the tractor only plays the role of traction and does not bear the weight of the trailer. Therefore, the trailer can stably "stand" on the road without relying on the tractor.
With the improvement of road facilities and the development of expressways, the problem of poor driving stability of full trailers has gradually emerged. It was forbidden to enter the expressway. Now, except for individual regions in Inner Mongolia, other regions have basically disappeared.
In contrast, the middle mounted axle of the current rising star is completely different, although it looks very similar to the full suspension. First, its axle is concentrated in the middle of the car. Second, it is not equipped with a bogie. In addition, the traction device cannot move up and down. Because of this, a part of the weight of the middle trailer axle must be borne by the tractor. Once leaving the tractor, the trailer will lose its center of gravity and "collapse" on the road.
On the whole, the center axle is more like a semi-trailer, so it is much easier to reverse than the full trailer.
